A branch of Satbayev University “Mechanical Engineering” department has been opened on the basis of “Kazecotech” company

The ceremonial opening of “Mechanical Engineering” department’s subsidiary on the basis of “Kazecotech” company took place in Astana.

The event was a significant step in evolving the partnership between higher educational institutions and the industrial sector. Department’s new branch will combine the scientific potential of universities and the enterprise practical experience, which will ensure the training of highly qualified engineers of a new generation.

 “Kazecotech” is an innovative company engaged in generating the energy-saving equipment and recycling of hazardous waste. Creation of an educational and production site on the enterprise basis will open up opportunity for students to practice in real-world production, participate in research projects and elaborate engineering solutions for industrial tasks.

The opening ceremony was attended by Satbayev University’s heads and representatives, specialists of the enterprise, teachers and students. Participants noted that the opening of the department's branch would be an example of effective integration of education, science and production.

“Kazecotech” management expressed readiness for subsequent collaboration and advancement of joint projects in mechanical engineering and energy-efficient technologies sphere.
