A new chapter: Satbayev University is expanding the collaboration with one of the top 100 universities in the world

Satbayev University hosted a working meeting with representatives of one of the UK's leading universities, University of Exeter. The main topic was the creation of joint double degree programs and expansion of academic cooperation.

"We have already signed a memorandum of understanding with University of Exeter. The next step is to sign an agreement to launch dual degree programs in such strategically important areas as mining, project management and data analysis," said Samgat Yermekbayev, First Vice Rector for International Cooperation and Strategic Development.

The parties discussed the main details of the future program, the coordination of requirements for theses and the mutual accounting of credits according to the ECTS system. Special attention was paid to the possibility of free tuition for students. It was decided to launch a pilot program in the next academic year.

University of Exeter is one of the top hundred universities in the world, part of the British elite Russell Group of universities. University is known for its interdisciplinary projects and strong programs in the fields of sustainable technologies, engineering and artificial intelligence. Its alumni include the writer J. K. Rowling and singer of Radiohead Thom Yorke.

The meeting with Exeter University representatives became a significant stage in the international integration of Satbayev University into the global educational space. The new program gives students access to world-class education and creates the basis for long-term and mutually beneficial academic cooperation.
