A new era of independence: Satbayev University hosted a round table dedicated to Republic Day

At Satbayev University, Project Management Institute held "Dauir Bastauy - Declaration" round table dedicated to Republic of Kazakhstan’s Day and the historical significance of State Sovereignty Declaration. The discussion took place in the auditorium named after Professor Akhmet Yerzhanov and brought together University’s teachers, students and guests.

Moderator, senior lecturer at Social Sciences Department Turlybek Tumabayev noted that Declaration became the starting point of a new era and stressed the significance of preserving the historical memory and continuity of generations. Discussion was joined by scientists from Satbayev University and Almaty Energy and Communications University, who revealed the key historical prerequisites for the adoption of the document and its impact on forming the independent Kazakhstan.

Participants emphasized that a meaningful attitude towards the historical path strengthens civic responsibility and academic cooperation, and the memory of the struggle for independence remains a source of inspiration for the youth.
