Admission to the Institute of Military Affairs of Satbayev University has begun
Institute of Military Affairs (military department) of the Satpayev University announces a competitive selection procedure for candidates applying to study under the reserve officers and sergeants program based on tuition fees.
Candidates from the Kazakh British Technical University (KBTU), Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev (AUPET), International engineering technological university (METU), Almaty Technological University (ATU), Eurasian Technological University (ETU), KIMEP University, Turan University are welcome to bring their applications from February 15 to July 15, 2023.
Opening hours of the admission committee: from 9.00 to 16.30 daily. Saturday and Sunday are days off. Lunch break: 12.30 - 13.30.
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan (boys and girls) aged no older than 24 years old for the year of the competition are allowed to study. Girls are studied only under the reserve officer program.
First-year students (with a 4-year study), and first-year and second-year students (with a 5-year study) are allowed to admit applications to participate in the competitive selection for studying under the reserve officer program.
First-year and second-year students (with 4 years of study) and first-year, second-year, and third-year students (with 5 years of study) are allowed to admit applications to participate in the competitive selection for studying under the reserve sergeant program.
Students enrolled in an abbreviated form are accepted for training only under the reserve sergeant training program.
Studying of the students of KBTU, AUPET, МЕTU, ATU, ETU, KIMEP, Turan under the reserve officer program, as well as studying of all students under the reserve sergeant program is carried out only on a tuition fees basis.
Studying is provided by the military day method, i.e. one day a week. The term of studying under the reserve sergeant program is 1 year; under the reserve officer program - 2 years.

Competitive selection is carried out in four stages. Passing each stage of the competition is allowed once.
Stage 1 - passing a medical examination at the UDO (Department of Defense Affairs). To undergo a medical examination, you must arrive at the specified address and receive a referral for a medical examination and a medical card, and have with you:
- Identification card (original and copy).
- Certificate or military ID (original and copy) for young men.
- 1 (one) photo size 3x4.
- Certificate of the presence or absence of a criminal record.
- Document (if available) confirming the sporting achievement.
- Certificate of actual training of the student at the university, signed by the dean of the faculty.
A medical examination is carried out at the UDO (Department of Defense Affairs) at the place of military registration (non-resident students must be military registered at the place of temporary registration). The deadline for submitting the medical examination card is June 2, 2023.
Students who have submitted applications and submitted medical examination cards are allowed to the next stages of the competitive selection.
Stages 2, 3 and 4 will be held from 19 to 30 June 2023.
Stage 2 - conducting professional psychological testing.
Stage 3 - checking physical fitness.
Stage 4 - competitive selection, carried out in accordance with the calculation of the rating score.
