Announcement of Student and Master's Research Work Competition

We invite you to participate in the Student and Master's Research Work (SMRW) competition, organized by the Institute of Geology and Oil & Gas Business. This is a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge, develop research skills, and contribute to the advancement of geological science.

• First Stage: Conducted internally within the Institute among the departments of Department of Geological survey, search and exploration of mineral deposits, Department of Petroleum Engineering, Department of Hydrogeology, Engineering and Oil and Gas Geology and Department of Geophysics and Seismology.
• Second Stage: Republican level, involving geological institutes across Kazakhstan.

The competition is held in the following relevant areas:

• General and Historical Geology
• Artificial Intelligence in Geology
• Geology of Mineral Deposits

Requirements for Research Work:

Participants are required to prepare a research paper of 40–50 pages. The structure of the research paper must include the following mandatory sections:

• Table of Contents
• Introduction
• Research Methodology
• Main Body (Research Results)
• Conclusion
• References
