Athletes of Satbayev University won 7 medals at XIII Summer Universiade of Kazakhstan

Satbayev University students worthily represented the university at XIII Summer Universiade of Kazakhstan, winning 7 medals and demonstrating a high level of training and athletic spirit.
Energy and Mechanical Engineering Institute’s students showed special success in swimming competitions. Dariya Mironova, a second-year student, rose to the highest step of the podium three times, winning three gold medals at once. Her coursemate Yaroslav Stukov, a freshman, filled the team's piggy bank with gold and bronze. Following the competition results, Satbayev University’s team took the honorable second place in the team competition in swimming.
The students' performances were vivid in other disciplines as well. Ayan Amanzhol won the silver medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, and Nurzhan Margulan became the bronze medalist in Kazakh national wrestling Kazaksha kures. The team has a total of 4 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals.
