Creative vision of Almaty: photo exhibition of architecture students at Satbayev University

An exhibition of photographs of Satbayev University students "ARC style" was held at Satbayev University. The future architects collected photographs that they took during the year at "Photography" course, in which they learned to combine photography and graphic design.

The students presented the best works of the year, showing their achievements in documentary, art and poster photography. The photo showed buildings and streets, panoramas and fragments of Almaty city, which vividly reflected the individual creative vision of each author, their ideas, thoughts and emotions.

The exhibition was opened by Vice-rector for International Cooperation and Strategic Development Samgat Yermekbayev and Architecture and Construction Institute’s director Bolat Kuspangaliyev. Anton Khodzhikov, deputy director, presented the participants’ works in front of the guests - teachers, students, friends and relatives of the participants.

One of the honored guests was Zhandos Zhumabai, head of Social Design Department of “Almatygenplan”, who organized interviews with participants and coverage of the exhibition in architectural communities. Thanks to this, the city exhibition grounds became interested in the work of the children, and the work is now underway to re-organize the exhibition for a wider audience.

The exhibition allowed students to gain valuable experience in organizing the events

and performing in front of the large audience, as well as another opportunity to show their abilities and talents.
