Creativity unites generations of engineers at the traditional "KazNRTU Spring- 59"

The 59^th festival of student creativity "KazNRTU Spring", one of the largest and most significant events of the academic year, bringing together hundreds of students from eight institutes, has come to an end at Satbayev University. For almost six decades, the festival has acquired a national scale and entered the cultural code of the country's oldest technical university.

Festival originates from the initiative of four talented university students, “Dos Mukasan” ensemble, which was created in the same year as the festival. In the early years, the festival was a small tradition, but over time it turned into a grandiose forum that nurtured more than one galaxy of stars of the Kazakh stage.

This year, "KazNRTU Spring - 59" summed up the results of the academic year, bringing together students and giving them the opportunity to prove themselves not only as a performer, but also as an author, director and organizer. Festival lasted for a week, and each institute had the opportunity to showcase its talents. With the help of theatrical performances, musical and choreographic performances, students comprehended such topics as the 35^th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, the role of outstanding personalities in the country’s history.

Festival finale was a gala concert, where the best performances in various genres were presented – from theatrical productions to instrumental music and modern choreography. Each institute demonstrated its own vision and creative approach, emphasizing that a modern engineer combines technical expertise and a broad cultural outlook. Following the festival results, Architecture and Construction Institute won the grand prix, demonstrating a high level of training and an original creative approach. The first place was taken by Automation and Information Technology Institute, the second place was shared by Mining and Metallurgical Institute and Institute of Geology and Oil-Gas Engineering.

"KazNRTU Spring - 59" is the university's contribution to the evolvement of an educational environment where creativity becomes a part of engineering training. In this way, Satbayev University develops competitive specialists who are able to generate innovations and work for the economy growth of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Connecting generations, preserving the cultural heritage and supporting creative initiatives form the basis for future scientific and technological achievements, strengthening Satbayev University's status as a center of attraction for talents and ideas.
