Education and industry: Baker Hughes and Satbayev University have begun the new stage of cooperation

In a significant step towards strengthening cooperation between industry and the academic community, Baker Hughes, a global leader in energy technology, and Satbayev University, one of the leading technical universities in Kazakhstan, are proud to announce the signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding. This landmark agreement, which was signed as part of the anniversary events dedicated to 125th anniversary of Kanysh Satbayev, will lay the foundation for a deep and multifaceted partnership between the two organizations.

Baker Hughes' signing ceremony was attended by Fabio Brogini, Executive Director for Sales in Europe and the Caspian region, Anton Chernikov, Regional Director for the Caspian region, Rustem Naushiyev, Director of Sales and Business Development in Central Asia and the Caspian region, and Kairat Batu, sales manager in the Caspian region. On the part of Satbayev University, Memorandum was signed by Rector Meiram Begentayev.

Memorandum of Understanding covers cooperation in the field of education and training of engineering students at Satbayev University, providing for internships, seminars and lectures from Baker Hughes specialists, as well as joint research projects. The given agreement aims to make it easier for students to choose a career path through direct experience in an industrial environment. Both organizations expressed confidence that this partnership will open up new horizons for students, allowing them to gain invaluable experience and knowledge that will contribute to their professional growth and successful careers in the future.
