From Studies to Real-World Challenges: Satbayev University Students Contribute to the Country’s Economic Security

The internship of students from the Institute of Project Management at Satbayev University has begun at the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty. Students specializing in the "Mathematical Economics and Data Analysis" program are getting acquainted with the work of law enforcement and analytical structures, while applying the knowledge gained at the university in real professional settings.

They are involved in tasks related to detecting and solving economic crimes, analyzing financial documentation, and gathering evidence. A particularly valuable aspect of the internship is the mentorship from experienced department professionals. One such mentor is Azamat Kaliyev, head of the forensic department, who shares his expertise with students and engages them in daily analytical and investigative work.

Under his guidance, students develop quick-thinking skills, learn to work with confidential information, and master methods of forensic analysis. This practical experience helps future specialists build strong professional skills, responsibility, and the ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty.

The internship is conducted within the framework of a cooperation memorandum between Satbayev University and the Department of Economic Investigations in Almaty. The university expresses its gratitude to the department for its trust, support, and willingness to invest in the development of a new generation of professionals. We are confident that this collaboration will continue in the future, contributing to the training of highly qualified personnel to combat economic violations.
