Get a world-class diploma in Kazakhstan: Satbayev University hosted the Study in Kazakhstan exhibition
Kazakhstan continues to open the doors to international education for its youth. With the purpose to introduce entrants to the opportunity to obtain a diploma from a foreign university without leaving Kazakhstan, RK MSHE, together with numerous partners, organized a series of exhibitions of Kazakhstani universities with branches of foreign higher educational institutions.
In Almaty, the exhibition was held at Satbayev University, a technical innovation university that provides its students with the opportunity to receive diplomas from Pennsylvania State University, City University of Hong Kong, University of Glasgow and others. The first students have already started studying at the given foreign universities on dual degree programs.
20 universities from all over Kazakhstan took part in “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition, organized for 10th and 11th grade students. Almaty schoolchildren had the opportunity to learn about double-degree programs, ask questions directly to university representatives, and even take a career guidance test to understand which life's work to choose. The exhibition was visited by Ruslan Yemelbayev, Adviser to Minister of Science and Higher Education, who spoke about the exhibition program and answered all questions:
"Universities such as South Korea's Seul Tech, one of the leading universities in the field of IT and artificial intelligence, and American Arizona State University are represented here," he said. - This is a great opportunity for all graduates, not only from Almaty, but also for anyone who wants to study at a Kazakh university for free and receive two diplomas: one Kazakh, and the other a diploma from a foreign university according to international standards.
“Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition helps expand the educational horizons and increase the competitiveness of Kazakhstani students in the global labor market, which is being implemented in Kazakhstan on behalf of State’s Head. Contacts with top foreign universities have already been established in many regions of the country, and conditions have been created for studying under the dual degree system. In the future, it is expected to increase the number of branches of foreign universities in which Kazakhstani students will be able to enroll on a general basis according to UNT results.
