In the healthy body there is a healthy spirit: Traditional Spartakiad "Densaulyk - 2024" was held at Satbayev University

Traditional winter sports contest "Densaulyk - 2024", held at University, helped Satbayev University scientists to find new inspiration, thoughts and ideas. Teachers and staff demonstrated their sporting achievements for several days, they could show their skills in four sports: table tennis, chess, volleyball and mini-football.

Teachers defended the sports honor in the combined teams from each Institute. Competition began with chess, where the team of the oldest Mining and Metallurgical Institute at University won, which managed to keep the victory and win at the end of Spartakiad.

Competition was judged by judges B. Seilov, J. Zhuparkhan, R. Sagyndykov, T. Ukeshov, A. Amaliyev, A. Nigmetov, E. Juashev and A. Nussipova. The chief judge was T. Imantaliyev.

Spartakiad is one of the traditional events designed to support the goals and objectives in the field of healthy lifestyle, physical culture and sports, announced in RK President’s message "Kazakhstan – 2050".

Among the winners there are the strongest athletes of University and everyone who took part in  Spartakiad, because sport is exactly what helps our researchers come up with new scientific breakthrough projects on a daily basis.
