Invitation to Advanced Training Courses in Seismological Problem Solving

The Department of Geophysics and Seismology is conducting a series of advanced training courses on "Training specialists in the processing and interpretation of geophysical data for solving seismological problems," within the framework of the scientific project of Program-Targeted Funding: "Assessment of seismic hazard of territories of regions and cities of Kazakhstan on a modern scientific-methodological basis" for 2024-2026.

Lecturer: Vitaliy Borisovich Petrovskiy, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, international business trainer.

Topics: "Modern Earth Remote Sensing Technologies" and "Methods of Studying Geopotential Fields in Solving Seismological Problems."

The courses are intended for:

• Managers and specialists of company departments involved in geophysical and seismological research;
• Teachers, master's and doctoral students specializing in geophysics and seismology;
• Specialists, teachers, master's and doctoral students from multidisciplinary teams (subsoil users and related industries) who have not previously professionally studied this course.

All employees of Satbayev University are invited: lecturers, students, master's and doctoral students from related departments and scientific centers who wish to gain additional knowledge in modern technologies of seismological research for solving scientific and practical tasks.
