Invitation to the Scientific and Practical Conference on Earthquake-Resistant Construction and Engineering Seismology within the framework of the EURO-ASIAN FORUM “SEISMO-2026”

Satbayev University invites researchers and professionals from the CIS countries and abroad to participate in the Scientific and Practical Conference on Earthquake-Resistant Construction and Engineering Seismology, which will take place on 27–28 January 2026.

Within the framework of the conference, scientists, representatives of research, design, and construction organizations, faculty members, as well as representatives of relevant governmental bodies will take part in discussions on current issues related to the development of earthquake-resistant construction and engineering seismology, and will exchange experience and scientific and technical achievements.

The main objective of the conference is to discuss pressing challenges in the field of earthquake-resistant construction and engineering seismology, as well as to consider the current state and future prospects of the experimental and regulatory-technical frameworks required for scientific research and engineering design. Speakers representing the scientific and academic communities of the CIS countries will present new scientific and technological developments in the field of earthquake-resistant construction and engineering seismology.

As part of the conference program, a ceremonial award presentation of the Honorary Medal “For Contribution to the Development of Earthquake-Resistant Construction” named after Academician Zhunusov Toleubay Zhunusovich will be held.

For interested professionals, master’s students, and doctoral candidates, a master class titled “Specific Features of Applying the Standards of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia in the Seismic Design of Buildings and Structures” using the LIRA-SOFT software package is scheduled for 28 January.
