Law and order in the digital age: there was held a lecture on youth safety at Satbayev University
Within the framework of "Zan men tartip" initiative, there was held a lecture at Satbayev University with the participation of Almaty city police department representatives. The students were addressed by Tlek Alnazarov, senior inspector for special assignments of Department for work with personnel, Sulushash Dosbolova, senior inspector of Department for combating drug crime, and Batyrkhan Rassylkhan, operative of Department for combating cybercrime.
The meeting was dedicated to responsible attitude towards personal and digital security and the current threats faced by young people today. Special attention was paid to how not to become a victim of crimes and how to protect your loved ones, including elderly relatives, from risks.
Police representatives spoke about the fight against drug crimes, emphasizing the danger of drugs. Even a small first step can lead a young man down a road that destroys his life and leads nowhere. The second part was devoted to cybercrimes, which are reaching a new level today, and that is why it is significant to know simple protection rules and share them with family and friends.
At the end of the lecture, the students were told about the possibilities of entering the departmental academies of MIA and serving in the police. Today, specialists in the field of information technology and cybersecurity are in demand in the system of internal affairs bodies, and they also discussed in detail the working conditions, social support and benefits of the service.
The lecture became part of the systematic work of Satbayev University to develop cooperation with government agencies and form a culture of law-abiding behavior and responsible attitude towards the digital environment among students.
