LECTURE “TRADITIONAL START-UP VS. LEANSTART-UP”

Commercialization Office delivered a lecture «Traditional start-upvs.Leanstart-up» for KazNRTU staff and students. Participants got acquainted with each of approaches to startup reasoning, main start-up failure reasons, minimum viable products expected, business-strategic canvases and so on. After the lecture the office presented students with participation certificates.

Participants highly appreciated the lecture and commented it as “a very informative, relevant to the present day”, “examples and comparison of approaches filled missing elements in our knowledge", "the lecture was very interesting!"

Satpaev KazNRTU Commercialization office has been working since summer 2016. The office interviewed the university staff and students, and according to it, 47% of them would like to get startup training; 44% stated a willingness to receive training on introductory course in business. In this regard, Commercialization office, inspired by warm reception of the first lecture, is scheduling to hold such courses on a regular basis.
