Mandatory diagnostics of the level of proficiency in Kazakh, Russian, and English for freshmen

Dear entrants!

Upon admission to Satbayev University, all first-year bachelor students are required to undergo diagnostics in Kazakh, Russian, and English.

Based on the diagnostics results, training groups will be formed according to knowledge level. Students who know the language at an elementary level will be assigned to the initial groups; students who fluently speak - to the advanced groups. This will ensure comfortable learning and effective evolvement of first-year students' language skills.

It is important:

Diagnostics is executed offline and is mandatory for all entrants.

Diagnostics takes place at the university offices in the oral interview format.

The results do not affect the study grant receipt. Even if you have a low level of English proficiency, you will retain the grant and start studying from the basic level.

You should have an identity card with you.

English language diagnostics:

Dates: from August 19 to August 29, 2025
Venue: Main Academic Building, classrooms 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 605a, 606, 607, 608.
Time: from 09:00 to 18:00

Diagnostics in Kazakh and Russian languages:

Dates: from August 18 to August 30, 2025
Venue: Main Academic Building, classrooms 609, 609a, 611, 613, 615 (Kazakh), 512, 610, 611a, 612, 614, 615a (Russian)
Time: from 9:30 to 17:30.

Those who have entered the Kazakh department undergo diagnostic testing in the Russian language, and those who have entered the Russian department undergo diagnostic testing in the Kazakh language.
