Memorial Day of K.I. Satbayev will be held on January 31
On Memorial Day devoted to 120th anniversary of the first professional geological engineer, the first doctor of sciences, member of USSR Academy of Sciences and Kazakh SSR, the first state and Lenin Prize laureate, organizer and the first President Kanysh Imantayevich Satbayev, the Historical Heritage Center is holding a literary and musical measure on January 31, 2019.
The veteran of Academy of Sciences and Satbayev University, academician of National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan D.K. Kishibekov, and Satpayev experts N.V. Niretina, A.A. Umirbekova will be sharing short memories, also, there will be demonstrated a documentary and performance of “Baysheshek” literary association members with verses, songs, piece of music about Kanysh-aga, and the audience will be enjoying the favorite music of Satbayev as well.
Due to the given occasion, our students will get a general idea of the phenomenal personality whose name our university has been carrying for 20 years. The young generation will be more interested in the life and work of a great figure.
