Nazarbayev University’s professors held a series of lectures and discussed the launch of joint projects at Satbayev University

There was held a series of open lectures by Nazarbayev University’s national and foreign teachers at Satbayev University. Program presented pressing topics reflecting the modern challenges of science and technology.

Lectures were devoted to modern technological and social challenges, from the introduction of geometric approaches to improve the efficiency of the mining industry and the transition from electronic to photonic technologies to the evolvement of e-government, the use of open data to analyze social and climatic processes, as well as the circular economy principles as the basis for sustainable and collaborative development.

Alongside, there was held a working meeting of the two universities’ teachers, aimed at exchanging the experience and developing the cooperation between the country’s two leading universities. Parties discussed the prospects for academic exchange, conducting the joint research and applying for grant funding. Participants noted that such meetings contribute to strengthening the partnership, developing interdisciplinary research and integrating science into solving the real economic issues.
