PhD student at Satbayev University Yerlan Hamza completed an internship at the National Research Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev

The scientific internship of the PhD student was carried out jointly with a foreign scientific advisor - academician of RAASN, doctor of technical sciences, professor Selyaev V.P. The results of the research work carried out by the PhD student were presented, issues related to the topics of PhD thesis were discussed, valuable consultations were received and directions for further research.

Were studied the following research on the topic of the thesis: foundations and methods of mathematical planning of the experiment; theoretical and experimental research in the field of creating tuff concrete; determination of the main structural parameters that have a major impact on the properties of tuff concrete; graphs of discrete-continuous deformation of tuff concrete were constructed; a statistical analysis of the process of degradation of the concrete structure was carried out; tests of concrete cubes of samples were carried out on a press at a loading speed of 0.5 mm per minute and a data collection rate of 10 measurements per second.

Based on the data obtained during the internship, three articles were prepared on the following topics: optimization of the properties of tuff concrete; large-scale effect; foundations of the theory of degradation.

Basenov Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering is actively working with scientists from the Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev in terms of conducting research projects in the framework of international collaboration.
