Principles of honesty and a future without corruption topics were discussed at Satbayev University

"Parassattylyk - a step towards a corruption-free society" student conference was held at Satbayev University. The event was organized by "Social Disciplines" chair and "Sanaly Urpak" department. The conference was attended by students, teachers, as well as the president of the public foundation "Parassatty urpak ushin", the head of "Almaty - Adaldyk alany" project Kalimoldin Marat Mautenovich.

Conference’s main purpose is to create a culture of honesty and decency among students, to explain the importance of fighting corruption and to define the role of youth in the given process.

In accordance with the opening ceremony, the head of Anti-corruption compliance service Zhumanov Abdigali Nurgaliyevich took the floor. He presented the students with the principles of generosity, the principles of academic honesty and openness in the public.

During the plenary session, topical issues of corruption prevention, academic integrity and transparency principles were presented as well. The speakers were Saktai Ali, Dosmurat Fatima, Maratuly Abylai, Oralbekkyzy Diana, Didar Nurgeldy, Begimkulkyzy Gulim and Kydyrbek Shugyla.

In addition, there was organized a panel discussion on "Youth is the key to a future without corruption" topic, in which students discussed the role of youth in the fight against corruption and ways to prevent it.

This conference has become a significant platform for creating the anti-corruption culture among students, popularization of the values of justice and honesty, as well as the development of active citizenship among young people. The organizers noted the need to continue such initiatives in the future.

At the end of the conference, the best speakers, active participants as well as all participants were awarded certificates. The event ended with the memorable photo shoot.
