Satbayev University and Arizona State University (ASU) - Collaboration for Sustainable Development.

The largest American public university - ASU - is establishing partnerships with leading universities in Kazakhstan. As part of this initiative, the ASU delegation conducted a meeting with the Satbayev University leadership. Topics discussed include but are not limited to cybersecurity, the role of the higher education system in sustainable development, and scientific cooperation. Meeting participants also discussed various opportunities for joint scientific projects and the creation of collaborative working groups. 

Both the ASU and Satbayev University representatives expressed interest and readiness for cooperation in priority areas. Brian Gerber, the head of master's programs in Emergency Management and Homeland Security, shared some information about ASU's activities and outlined the ways of cooperation between universities in the United States and Kazakhstan.

In particular, Arizona State University is interested in researching threats in various areas of the economy for up to 10 years.
