Satbayev University and Fashion Industry - the opening and first steps in the development of its own Academy of Design
On October 5, Satbayev University will present the author’s autumn-winter capsule collection of clothes «Feater Fall» of famous Kazakh designer Meruert Shakerbay.
Fashion show of Shakerbay brand is dedicated to the opening of the Academy of design at the department of “Architecture” of the Institute of architecture and civil engineering named after T.Bassenov.
The purpose of the work of the Academy of Design is to reveal the potential of the professions of architect and designer. Applied specialties have been introduced into the training course, they will help students solve new problems, acquire additional practical skills, create a comfortable environment for self-organization and activation of individual potential.
The project directions of commercialization will be:
- Design in fashion, garment textile production;
- Pottery and ceramic art;
- Souvenirs;
- Design printing;
- Architectural modeling;
- Projects for the reconstruction of Satbayev University spaces;
- Facade and interior graffiti and frescoes;
- BIM-designs of existing buildings to rationalize their operation.
