Satbayev University and Halyk Foundation have joined forces in “Halyk ormany” environmental initiative
Satbayev University students participated in "Halyk ormany" environmental initiative together with Halyk Foundation. The action took place in the picturesque area of Kokshoky and brought together the most active representatives of the university, who are ready to devote the day to caring for nature and future generations.
During the day, the participants planted trees, talked with Satbayev University’s Rector and Halyk Foundation representatives, discussing the importance of ecological thinking and the personal contribution of each person to the environment preservation. The event was not just a trip to nature, but a contribution to the future and clean air for future generations.
"This is not just an ecological and volunteer action, but an example of real creation, when youth and business unite for the sake of the country that we will leave to our children," said Meiram Begentayev, Rector of Satbayev University.
The action became University’s another step in the framework of implementing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as an inspiring example for other organizations. As the participants emphasized, such actions help to recharge the energy of creation and feel like part of a big team that makes Kazakhstan greener and cleaner.
