Satbayev University and International University of Information Technologies have started a new project

On March 6, a delegation of Satbayev University headed by Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation Alibek Shokparov visited IUIT, where they met with Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Affairs Yevgeniya Daineko. This meeting was the beginning of cooperation in the field of Research & Development between the two best universities in the country in IT sphere.

Within the framework of the joint project, an interuniversity scientific creativity platform will be created, designed both for students taking their first steps in science and for established scientists. The project involves the mutual use of each other's technological and innovative capacities by the two universities, which will raise the training of IT specialties to a new level, and joint participation in conferences and competitions, the organization of practices and internships will create the necessary synergy for an innovative leap forward.

During the meeting, a tour of IUIT campus was organized. The main achievements and developments of University were presented, as well as unique audiences for training students in IT areas.

Creating a research environment in engineering and IT industries will help not only to conduct scientific research, but also to effectively turn them into industrial projects and launch startups. As part of the tour, the delegation visited the incubation office of IUIT StarUp projects, whose tasks include not only helping to open startups, but also their subsequent acceleration to find investments. The resources and developments of this office will be used in the project.

At the end of the meeting, Memoranda on joint cooperation and interaction in R&D sphere were exchanged.
