Satbayev University and KIA Qazaqstan have united to train machine builders

On November 12, Satbayev University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev and CEO of Kia Qazaqstan Kim De Ki signed the collaboration memorandum to promote scientific and educational initiatives in the field of road transport in Kazakhstan. Memorandum opened up new opportunities for joint research and projects, internships and traineeships for students and faculty of University.

Within the framework of long-term cooperation, University and machine builders plan to launch a wide program of practices and research for production workers and teachers. Head of Transport Engineering and Logistics School Seidulla Abdullayev stressed that it was an important project in the mechanical engineering sphere for Kazakhstan:

- Our cooperation will strengthen the link between education and the automotive industry, and will also be a significant step to improve the quality of personnel training in the transport industry of Kazakhstan, - said Seidulla Abdullayev.

Partnership involves a series of joint projects, the exchange of experience and knowledge of technology, as well as support for the professional growth of future specialists. Students will be able to complete an internship at the company and, upon graduation, get a job at KIA Qazaqstan.
