Satbayev University and National Defense University of RK have joined the forces to strengthen the country's defense potential

A cooperation agreement was signed between Satbayev University and National Defense University of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The agreement, signed by Askar Mustabekov, the head of NDU, is aimed at combining the efforts of two leading engineering institutions in the field of defense and the country’s security.

The parties agreed to implement joint degree programs in the field of engineering and technical education, conduct research within the framework of the consortium, exchange teachers, scientists and students, as well as organize joint seminars, conferences and trainings. Special attention will be paid to the modern technologies growth in the field of mechanical engineering, information security, automated control systems and other priority areas.

Satbayev University is known for its strong programs in the field of development and training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles. University is working with Kazakhstan-Korea drone competence development Academy, which trains specialists in the field of cartography who want to use innovative technologies such as drones in their work. Another area is the creation of drones suitable for combat missions, for extinguishing the fires and working on the scene of emergencies.

"Cooperation between the two universities will allow integrating advanced engineering elaborations into the defense sector," Yerzhan Kuldeyev said. - Our university’s achievements will strengthen the country's defense capability by providing modern technical solutions to ensure national security and improve the technological level of the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The signing of the agreement was an important step towards creating an integrated system for training technical specialists for the country's defense industry, combining the scientific potential and experience of both universities, academic science, innovative developments and real national security needs.
