Satbayev University and Women in Tech Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
Satbayev University hosted the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the public foundation Women in Tech Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the agreement is to jointly promote the principles of gender equality, inclusivity, and sustainable development, as well as to expand women's participation in science, technology, engineering, and innovation.
As part of the cooperation, the parties plan to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into educational and research activities, organize conferences, seminars, training sessions, and career guidance programs, develop mentoring and career initiatives, and implement research and educational projects aimed at fostering leadership and professional competencies.Special attention will be given to supporting startups, incubation and acceleration programs, and creating opportunities for the development of technological and social initiatives based on ESG principles and digital transformation.
Satbayev University will serve as a key platform for the implementation of joint programs with Women in Tech Kazakhstan, providing students, master’s, and doctoral students with opportunities to participate in practice-oriented projects, internships, and professional development programs.
The signing of the Memorandum marks a new stage in strengthening cooperation between the University and organizations working to advance inclusive and sustainable practices.
