Satbayev University discussed the prospects of AI and international trade with HKTDC participation

There was held a seminar at Satbayev University, where representatives of Hong Kong International Trade Development Council spoke about the opportunities Hong Kong presents for Kazakhstani entrepreneurs. Chris Lo, HKTDC’s regional director, and Akerkin Eraliyeva, the representative for Central Asia and Mongolia, director at Satbayev University Business School, introduced the guests to the council's activities and shared their views on the prospects for cooperation between Hong Kong and Kazakhstan in trade and investment sphere, as well as prospects for collaboration in logistics, investment and degree programs.

At the meeting, Satbayev University representatives signed agreements with Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Association for Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan, QazAi, which will open a new office at the university, which will provide great opportunities for entrepreneurship in the field of AI, the development of innovative startups and training.

"I think this is a great opportunity for joint growth, - Chris Lo said in his welcoming speech. – Hong Kong has great potential as a global hub for trade, innovation and logistics. Our offices contribute to evolving the international cooperation, and I see many points from which we can start."
