Satbayev University has expressed its deep condolences on the death of Professor Dosmukhamed Kshibekov
We are deeply saddened to inform you that an outstanding scientist and talented teacher, doctor of philosophy, professor, academician of RK NAS, Great Patriotic War veteran Dosmukhamed Kshibekov died at the age of 99.
Dosmukhamed Kshibekov was a legend of University, a beloved mentor for many generations of students. His deep knowledge, broad outlook, and sincere love for science and people inspired everyone around him. He was always ready to help young people, guide them on the right path, and share his knowledge and experience with them.
His life was devoted to the service of science and education, he passed a long and fruitful path in scientific and pedagogical activity. He held various senior positions at Philosophy and Law Institute of AS of the Kazakh SSR, was the head of Philosophy Department at V.I. Lenin Kazakh Polytechnic Institute, now K.I. Satbayev KazNRTU. From 1996 until the last days of his life, he worked as a professor at Satbayev University Social Sciences Department. His service in the ranks of Soviet Army during Great Patriotic War only underlines his dedication and courage.
Dosmukhamed Kshibekov is known as a major propagandist of science and a teacher who left behind a rich scientific legacy. He’s the author of more than 680 publications, including 55 monographs, textbooks and teaching aids. His research in the field of philosophy of history, history of science and culture was widely recognized in the scientific community. His contribution to the well-being of our country was marked by numerous awards, including "For the Victory over Germany in 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War ", "For Services to the development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan" medals, “Friendship of Peoples”,"Kurmet" and "Barys" awards.
Dosmukhamed Kshibekov left an indelible mark in our hearts and in the lives of many people. His kindness, wisdom and dedication to his work will always remain with us. On behalf of the entire University staff, we express our deep condolences to the family and friends of Dosmukhamed Kshibekov.
