Satbayev University is among the best universities in Kazakhstan in QS rating
Today, in the conference hall of Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, a solemn presentation of QS World University Ranking 2024 official certificates to Kazakhstan’s universities - participants of the rating took place. University’s Rector Meiram Begentayev on behalf of Satbayev University accepted certificates confirming the high level of education and scientific work of the first technical university of Kazakhstan.
After the ceremony, President and Founder of QS Quacquarelli Symonds Nunzio Quacquarelli and Regional Director Sergey Hristolyubov paid an official visit to Satbayev University and got acquainted with the university, its infrastructure and scientific achievements.
Recall that in the regional ranking of QS Asia University Rankings 2024 Satbayev University occupies 105th line, improving last year's result by 23 positions. Among the universities of Central Asia, our university ranks 3rd after Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and L.N. Gumilyev Eurasian National University.
University occupies a leading position in the ranking due to its academic and research activities in technical specialties field. A high place in QS rating confirms its status as a center of academic excellence in the region and wide recognition among employers. The high level of employment and the quality of education make the university attractive for future engineers.
QS World University Rankings is one of the three most objective and influential university rankings in the world, along with Times Higher Education World University Rankings and Academic Ranking of World Universities. Its author is the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The first place in the ranking is traditionally occupied by MIT (Massachusetts, USA).
