Satbayev University is expanding the boundaries of education on International Day

Satbayev University hosted International Day, a day when students chose their international trajectory. To study in the USA, Germany, Great Britain or Hong Kong? At the International Day fair, students met with representatives of five top universities in the world and learned how to get two diplomas at once during their studies at Satbayev University.

Opening the event, Satbayev University’s rector Meiram Begentayev, stressed that the university's international cooperation program allows students not only to receive two diplomas, but also to become part of the global professional community:

"All the programs that we have launched with our foreign partners are created for the sake of our students, for the sake of our countries, for the sake of our sustainable future. And I am proud that our students take advantage of this opportunity and actively participate in interviews for admission to foreign universities," Rector shared.

"Just over the past 2 years, under partnership agreements, 14 of our students have already studied at Penn State (USA), 87 students have already been selected for City University of Hong Kong. Another 20 students are studying at Exeter University, 11 undergraduates are planning to continue their studies at University of Glasgow, and 17 more at Hof University in Germany," M. Begentayev cited statistics.

Students have had the opportunity to get to know foreign teachers and students directly, communicate with university representatives, ask questions about programs, admission conditions, and international career prospects. The event was attended by representatives from eight countries: Afghanistan, France, the USA, China, the Czech Republic, Iran, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

During the day, leading foreign universities presented their opportunities, with which Satbayev University implements joint degree programs. Among them are City University of Hong Kong, University of Glasgow, Penn State University, University of Exeter and Hof University of Applied Sciences. These universities are among the best in their countries and offer Satbayev University students training in areas ranging from engineering and information technology to sustainable development and applied sciences. Over the past two years, more than 150 students have participated in the program, choosing to study in Scotland, the USA, Korea, and Hong Kong.

International Day demonstrated that Satbayev University students have a wide range of choices, from British academic classics to American and Asian innovations. All these opportunities are the result of the university's systematic international strategy aimed at forming a new generation of engineers and scientists working at the global level.
