Satbayev University scholars presented their research at the 11th International Turkological Congress in Turkistan

Scholars from the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages at Satbayev University took part in the 11th International Turkological Congress held at Khoja Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University in Turkistan. They presented their research in various sections, including language, literature, culture, history, teaching of Turkic languages, and modern social trends.
The main theme of the congress, traditionally organized every two years, was “Turkology and the Turkic World.” The event brought together about 500 scholars from Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, China, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Karakalpakstan, and other countries, both in online and offline formats.
During the congress, 24 sectional meetings were held on topics such as “Turkic Language and Literature,” “Turkic Culture and Art,” “Turkic History and Socio-Cultural Structures,” “The Turkic World and International Relations,” “Teaching of Turkic Languages and Language Policy,” and “Modern Socio-Political and Economic Developments in the Turkic World.” Foreign and domestic Turkologists presented their studies and exchanged views on key issues in Turkology.
The participation of Satbayev University scholars in the 11th International Turkological Congress marked an important step in strengthening academic ties and advancing Turkological research. Such international platforms foster the exchange of scientific experience, open new avenues for collaboration, and highlight the significant contribution of Kazakhstani researchers to the study and preservation of the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world.
