Satbayev University students were presented with 500 books on engineering design in Kazakh

For the first time, the world's work on engineering design has become available to students studying in Kazakh, in the state language. 500 copies of the book in Kazakh "Discovering the engineering design in 21st century: opening the new horizons") were handed over to Satbayev University.
The book is known for explaining the engineering design not only through formulas, but also through real-world tasks and practice. It teaches you to find non-standard solutions and to consider the profession more broadly.
"It's not just a gift. This is an example of how business and education can work together. Business shares resources, university shares knowledge. And together they help future engineers learn from the best examples," said Meiram Begentayev, Rector of Satbayev University.
The translation was prepared with the support of Mentor Baspassy and National Geographic Qazaqstan, and the print run was presented to the university by Roman Abenov, CEO of QSM Resources, who himself completed his studies at Satbayev University this year under Executive MBA program for managers and specialists with extensive managerial experience.
"It is significant for me that our students can gain advanced knowledge in their native language. This is my contribution to the future generation of engineers," Roman Abenov said.
Science and engineering education evolvement in the Kazakh language contributes to the strengthening of the national school of engineering. This is the foundation that will allow us to grow new Satpayevs – scientists and engineers who can bring Kazakhstan to new heights of growth.
