Satbayev University will host the Eurasian Innovation Forum dedicated to the problems of urban security

On June 15-17, 2022, the Eurasian Innovation Forum "Actual problems of development and safety of large cities" will be held at Satbayev University. The forum is organized by Satbayev University together with the Central Research and Design Institute of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia, the Eurasian Association for Seismology, Earthquake-Resistant Construction and Protection from Natural Disasters and the National Expert Association "Srosexpertiza".

The main mission of the Forum is to discuss the problems and prospects of improving the development of large cities for the formation of a favorable and safe environment for the population, the development of international scientific, technical and business cooperation of architects, urban planners, builders, specialists and experts in territorial planning and emergencies.

Areas of work of the forum:

• Urban planning, architecture
• Technical regulation, rationing and standardization
• Earthquake-resistant construction and safety of facilities
• Transport infrastructure facilities
• Use of secondary raw materials and resources from waste
• Design, calculations, expertise in construction.

• Bolat Kuspangaliyev, Chairman of the Council, Doctor of Architecture, honorary architect, academician of the International Academy of Architecture of the East and the International Academy of Architecture, member of the Union of Architects of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the Altyn Adam Award – Person of the Year in the nomination "For contribution to the development of Architecture and Higher Education in Kazakhstan".
• Rustam Akbiyev, co-chairman of the Council, Head of the Department of Integrated Urban Planning Security of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "CNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of Russia".
• Mirken Abakanov, Senior Researcher, Corresponding Member of the International Engineering Academy, member of the Presidium of the Eurasian SEISMO Association.
• Vladimir Guryev, Doctor, Professor, Adviser to the RAACS, Head of the Department of Structural Mechanics of Earthquake-resistant Construction and Protection from Natural Disasters of the FSBI "TSNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of Russia".
• Zaalishvili Vladislav, Doctor, Professor, Head of the Department of the North Ossetian State University named after K.L. Khetagurov, Scientific director of the GFI VNC RAS.
