Satbayev University has announced the provision of 5 grants to families of fire victims in the Abay region. Children of the deceased foresters will be able to receive free education in the field of technology, architecture, design, project management.

It will be recalled that on June 12, national mourning was declared as a sign of lamentation for those died in the forest fire in the Abay region. The fire on the territory of Batbayevsk forestry of the Abay region began on June 8, 15 people died in the fire. Extinguishing the fire continues. A mobile control point with the organization of a communication hub of Minister of Emergency Situations has been deployed at the site of eliminating the natural fire. According to the press service of RK ESM, there is no threat to settlements.
