Technology, innovation, leadership: how Satbayev University engineers are changing the world

Satbayev University experts took part in the annual Women in Business 2025 forum, which brought together women leaders, entrepreneurs and top managers of major companies, becoming a platform for discussing the issues of economic and information security, innovative development and support for women's entrepreneurship.

Satbayev University has become one of the organizers of the forum, supporting women in business, technology and science. As part of "Technologies and skills of the future" panel session, Sapar Shalabayev, University’s Vice-rector spoke, noting the importance of creative skills in STEM education, digitalization of education and the introduction of developments in industry.

"We are confident that innovative solutions developed by women are changing the world, – he said in his speech. – Satbayev University creates all conditions to support women's entrepreneurship, technical education and scientific research. Our Women in Tech forum, which brought together more than 300 participants, launched several joint projects.

University has a growing number of female researchers, and graduates include successful businesswomen, engineers, developers, and startups.
