The Applied Machine Learning Laboratory has been opened at Satbayev University
The laboratory of "Applied Machine Learning" has been opened at the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies of Satbayev University.
The new laboratory of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies will become a center for collaboration and implementation of ideas and developments of young researchers, PhD students and experienced scientists.
Applied Machine Learning Laboratory was opened with the support of the project "Advanced Center for PhD students and young researchers in Infomratics (ACeSYRI)" registration No. 610166-EPP-1-2019-1-SK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPP6 under the Erasmus + program.
The aim of the program is to develop cooperation between graduate students, young researchers, teachers of Kazakhstan and the countries of the European Union.
ACeSYRI allows participants to create research groups, collaborate with international research groups, exchange scientific information and project results. Work on the territory of ACeSYRI is free and available to both students and young researchers which allows to improve the research conditions of young Kazakhstani researchers and graduate students in the field of informatics and create a basis for the development of international cooperation with EU universities.
The project is designed for 3 years and is carried out by 4 European and 9 Kazakhstani universities. The implementation of ACeSYRI is a valuable contribution to the modernization of higher education in Kazakhstan.
