The Azerbaijani delegation of Oil and Gas Institute visited Satbayev University

A delegation of scientists from Oil and Gas Institute of Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, headed by Academician of NAS of Azerbaijan, Professor Fakhraddin Kadirov, visited Satbayev University. The delegation also included Professors Ghalib Efendiyev and Vagif Gurbanov. They were welcomed by the university administration.

– We are united, – said Meiram Begentayev, Rector of the University, at the meeting, – by a long history of scientific work for the oil and gas industry, which began back in Soviet times and continues to this day. And we are ready to continue this cooperation in the future.

During the meeting, the delegation got acquainted with the scientific infrastructure of Satbayev University, including new laboratories, as well as University's developments in the field of oil and gas industry. Azerbaijani scientists highly appreciated University’s achievements and outlined new areas for cooperation.

Oil and Gas Institute is a long-time partner of Satbayev University, which has been conducting joint scientific work with K. Turyssov Institute of Geology and Oil-Gas Engineering for three years. Together, the two institutes are developing the concept of "intelligent field" and other innovative technologies to improve the efficiency of oil and gas production and refining.
