The Foreign Languages Department held the city Best Essay Competition-2024 among the technical universities in Almaty
On April 20, 2024, in honor of the 125th anniversary of K.I. Satbayev and the 90th anniversary of Satbayev University, Department of Foreign Languages, Institute of Project Management named after E.A. Turkebayev held a city essay competition in English among students of the 1st year of study at technical universities in Almaty. The topic of the essay was chosen by the organizing committee on the day of the competition from the following categories:
- Artificial intelligence
- Renewable energy sources
- Digital literacy
18 participants from universities such as KBTU, Energo University, ATU, Turan, IITU and Satbayev University competed for prizes by writing essays on the impact of artificial intelligence on the employment market.
In their essays, the participants discussed the significant impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market and other areas of the economy. Students also wrote about the ways to prevent possible risks when working with artificial intelligence. The competition participants demonstrated their comprehensive knowledge and creativity in discussing such a pressing topic.
Based on the results of the competition, the following winners were determined:
1st place: Amirdank Nurumbetov, KBTU
2nd place: Nestan Alikeeva and Karina Andriyanova, Turan
3 places: Aikunim Bekbosynova, Turan
Arailym,Ozbarkhanova Gaukhar Muratbek, Rolan Jumagulov, IITU
