The Institute of Architecture and Construction of Satbayev University prepares the winners

Student of IAIS. T. Basenova Elaman Amantayev became one of the winners of the international architectural competition BI Group Architect Awards. His project of the sports center was recognized as a silver medalist in the category "Sport", and the architect received 10 thousand us dollars and an order for the project from"BI Group".

The third place in the category "Culture" with the project of the German theater was taken by the graduate (2017) of the Department "Architecture" Irina gavrilchenko.

Bi Group Architect Awards competition for young professionals and students-architects, designed to attract innovative technologies and architectural solutions, was held in may-June 2018 by Kazakhstan construction holding "BI Group".

Of the 300 young architects who took part in the competition, 20 (representatives of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Lithuania and Kazakhstan) made it to the final.

The organizers of the competition support young architects who seek to create original projects of social and cultural objects-schools, hospitals, theaters, museums. One of the main requirements of the competition is to use innovative materials and technologies in projects.

Of course, I am glad that the students of Satbayev University not only actively participate in international competitions of architects, but also win. Thus, in the competition "Design of multicomfort house-2018", which was held in the spring by Saint-Gobain ISOVER, 4th year students Alina Weiss and Nuria Meshchanova took 1st place and received the right to represent Kazakhstan at the international stage.

Congratulations to the winners! We wish you further success!
