Time travel: Satbayev University showed the university museum to international students

Satbayev University hosted an excursion to the museum, organized for international students to familiarize them with University history and the outstanding scientist Kanysh Satbayev’s personality. Visiting the university museum was not only a fascinating journey into the past, but also an introduction to the cultural and scientific heritage of Kazakhstan.

During the tour, the students learned about the formation of the country's first technical university, about the contribution of Kanysh Imantayevich Satbayev to the evolvement of scientific schools, which marked the beginning of the industrial growth of Kazakhstan. The guests were particularly interested in archival photographs and personal belongings of the scientist, carefully stored in the exhibition.

The tour became part of University's adaptation program for international students and is aimed at strengthening the intercultural dialogue. University strives not only to provide modern engineering education, but also to foster respect among young people for the cultural heritage and scientific continuity symbolized by the name Kanysh Satbayev.
