To the 25th Aanniversary of National Currency: Meeting with Ex-chairman of National Bank Board

Satbayev University held the meeting of students and teachers with Kadyrzhan Damitov - Ex-chairman of National Bank Board. The Chancellor of Satbayev University – Iskander Beisembetov, teachers and students were the participants of this meeting.

The meeting was devoted to the 25^th anniversary of national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Ex-chairman – well known financier revealed the issues of National Bank’s routine, informed about the creation of financial sector in independent Kazakhstan, told about the transition from ruble to tenge and answered the question.

Kadyrzhan Damitov is economist and politician of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is one of the symbols of independent Kazakhstan’s transition from ruble to tenge. In different periods of time he was the Chairman of National Bank Board and Counselor of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the member of board of varies banks. He is awarded «Eren Enbegi ushin» medal and «Parasat» order.
