Vocational guidance excursion of Ekibastuz schoolchildren to Satbayev University

On March 30, 11th grade pupils of Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum at Ekibastuz, Pavlodar region visited Satbayev University. The excursion was organized as part of the university's career guidance work specifically for high school students of a technical profile.

The students toured the university campus, visited laboratories and classrooms. University teachers shared with the future students the information on admission conditions and development opportunities provided by the university, told about the successes of former students, Olympiads, sports competitions, creative sections and circles. The greatest interest among schoolchildren was aroused by such specialties as geology, oil-gas and mining, information technology, mechanical engineering, as specialties that are in demand in the labor market.

At the end of the tour, the pupils were wished UNT successful completion. In total, more than 25 people took part in the excursion.
