We are inviting you to the training seminar on green construction on February 26 - March 1
On February 26 - March 1, 2024, Satbayev University will host "Green construction is an important trend and new opportunities for Kazakhstan" training seminar for universities’ students of construction and engineering specialties, design organizations, developers and construction companies.
The goal of green construction is to reduce the consumption of energy and material resources throughout the entire life cycle of a building: from selecting the site for design, construction, operation, repair of a building, to its demolition.
The given issue is very relevant now for our country. The building sector in Kazakhstan is currently the main energy consumer. In large cities of Kazakhstan, it is increasingly difficult for construction companies to obtain technical conditions for connection to utility networks. At the same time, Strategy has been adopted to achieve carbon neutrality, according to which buildings should reduce energy consumption by almost half by 2060.
Expansion of Green Construction in Kazakhstan will contribute to overcoming the above-mentioned challenges.
"Green construction is an important trend and new opportunities for Kazakhstan" training seminar will help participants:
- To learn about current global trends in environmental construction;
- To get an overview of the main green technologies used in construction;
- To learn about green building certification systems and the requirements of Kazakhstan Green Building standard OMIR;
- To get important life hacks for "greening" the construction projects.
Training seminar’s participants will complete a training case and receive a certificate of Green Building Specialist.
Training seminar will be held in a hybrid format: offline and online.
Date and time: February 26 - March 1, 2024
Venue: Almaty, Satbayev str., 22, Satbayev University, Oil Building, Co-working named after U. Sydykov
