We invite you to participate and receive a grant for training at the Institute of Architecture and Construction

The Department of Architecture of the Institute of Architecture and Construction named after T.K. Basenov holds an Olympiad for schoolchildren on the complex of creative subjects "Drawing" and "Technical Drawing".

Students of the 11th grades of general education organizations can participate in the Olympiad based on an application: 1) students of secondary schools; 2) students of specialized architectural and art classes of educational institutions; 3) students of the system of additional artistic and aesthetic education.

The Olympiad is held in support of the “Almaty BALAFEST” city children's science festival in order to form a communication channel between the scientific, creative environment and educational institutions of the city, popularize science and creativity among schoolchildren, increase the attractiveness of scientific activity and form the image of a successful and promising scientist, architect, designer and artist.

Participants of the Olympiad are required to perform technical drawing and drawing tasks. The choice of one subject out of two is not allowed.

According to the results of the two stages of the Olympiad, the winners are awarded with diplomas:

• 1st degree – one place, with the award of a rector's grant;
• 2nd degree – one place, with the award of a rector's grant;
• 3rd degree – one place, with the award of a rector's grant;

All participants of the Olympiad receive a Certificate and an advantage for admission to the educational programs of the Department of Architecture of Satbayev University.

Payment of transportation costs and accommodation of the participants of the Olympiad and their accompanying persons to the venue of the Olympiad and back, the purchase of consumables is carried out independently.

The Olympiad is held in full-time format from May 16 to May 17, 2024, at Satbayev University
