How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
The program is aimed at training specialists in the field of creation, introduction into production and operation of modern high technologies; production of new materials and coatings for various purposes, devices and machines. Strategic priority for development of science, technology and engineering. Electronics and circuit design, materials are studied in detail.
You will gain knowledge in the field of development, research, modification and use of materials related to inorganic and organic nature for various purposes; processes of obtaining materials, blanks of parts and products, as well as their quality management in various fields of engineering and technology. You will be knowledgeable on physical fundamentals of mechanics, electricity and magnetism, optics, atomic and nuclear physics, numerical methods in physics, engineering and computer graphics, etc.
You will be able to solve actual engineering and scientific problems in such areas as nanotechnology, space and nuclear industries. The tasks of specialists in this profile include development of new physical-technological devices, creation of systems and complexes for various purposes.
Graduates work in research organizations and industrial laboratories. Future professions are flaw detector, chemical, spectral analysis engineer for materials, electron microscopy engineer, materials, and coatings test engineer and materials engineer.
