How to fill in the application to participate in state grant contest?
1. Before applying, select your favorite educational program at Satbayev University, corresponding to the relevant subjects in which you passed UNT.
2. Write down for yourself the code (column “Groups of educational programs” in the table) of the group of educational programs that includes the program you have chosen.
3. Indicate the group code and code of Satbayev University (Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev) in the application for a grant: 029.
Training of personnel in the field of space technology and promising space technologies that are dynamically developing in the Republic of Kazakhstan for all economy sectors.
Students receive fundamental training in the development and design of aircraft control systems, space communication and navigation systems, space robotics, Earth remote sensing systems. Also, they master experimental, theoretical and applied astronomy, applied remote sensing technologies for economic sectors as well as the related natural and technical sciences sphere.
You will study complex computer and electronic-electrical components, on the basis of which space technology is developed and created. You will learn how to create satellite systems and nanosatellites that can expand human capabilities for the effective use of space technologies in various economy sectors.
The best students will have the opportunity to study at leading foreign universities under the academic mobility program, such as Bauman Moscow State Technical University, S. Ordzhonikidze SSAU and the Berlin Technical University.
The program considers one training, two production and pre-graduate practice that include the study of experimental and test equipment of space technology and technologies at SSTB “GALAM”, Institute of Space Machinery and Technology, National Center for Space Machinery and Technology and other enterprises as well.
Graduates are in demand at enterprises in the most advanced economy sectors as theoretical specialists and "techies" who are able to work in a team. The main potential employers are "NCSRT", ISIT, "SSTB Galam", "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary", Center for Space Communications of "Kaztelecom", "Kazaeronavigation" companies and all enterprises, educational institutions that are actively implementing technologies for remote sensing of the Earth.
