The program is formed on the basis of the "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy; the program's goal is to increase the competitiveness of the industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the program implementation, productive cooperation with many foreign universities and domestic enterprises is conducted.
The program identified five priority areas for the development of industrial production, namely:
- Metallurgy,
- Chemistry,
- Petrochemicals,
- Production of building materials,
- Mechanical engineering.
State grants for the master's program are issued only for training specialists in above-mentioned fields. Information on in-demand specialties can be found in the Map of Industrialization for 2017-2019.
An important condition for obtaining a SPIID-2 grant is that applicants should be in demand by key employers in the sectors of SPIID-2, which means that in order to receive a grant it is necessary to have a contract with one of the companies working in the above-mentioned sectors, which provide you further employment.
