Beibut Atamkulov was appointed Minister of foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. ""Appoint Atamkulov Beibut Bakirovich Minister of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dismissing the Minister of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service of Akorda reported.
Beybut Atamkulov graduated from the metallurgical faculty of The Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after V. I. Lenin in 1986. Since 2006 he worked in the diplomatic service. He was Consul General of Kazakhstan in Germany, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in Malaysia. He also served as akim of South Kazakhstan region, was the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of industry and new technologies of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of investment and development.
